After having children, finding a comfortable bra was impossible. Sound familiar? How is it that we can see hundreds of bras in our stores, and still not find one that fits very well?

Even when I would find one that would seem to fit at the store, it would be cutting into me by the end of the first day. It seems that I was never the right cup or band size for store-bought bras. Is that your story too?

A few years ago, I bought the Craftsy/Bluprint bra making class by Beverly Johnson. I bought the Craftsy kit and started to make my own bra. It was better than a store-bought bra, but something was missing, and the fit wasn’t quite right…until I got personalized fit help from Bra Makers Supply, Canada. It was a wonderful trip, but not everyone can go to Canada for help.

Now, I’m able to make a comfortable, beautiful bralette in an hour, and an underwire (or no underwire) bra in an afternoon. I’m helping friends and family sew their own bras.

I started Gigi’s after I learned that there was no longer an USA distributor of Bra Makers Supply products. Sure, you can order from Canada, but shipping charges are steep for orders less than $200 Canadian, there are extra foreign currency fees from credit card companies, the shipments can be delayed in customs and some orders are charged extra duty to enter the USA. Phew! That’s a lot of unknowns with extra charges and fees. We handle the shipping and the drama so you can buy beautiful, professional-grade materials and supplies, from the USA.
